I have read that I should be able to decipher a fault code (or more) from this. WebJun 3, 2024 · Probably exhaust, as that side isn't monitored by a cam sensor, if it were, the ecu would recognise a timing issue the second there is a problem and trigger an engine management light and save us all a lot of ballache, time and money. It turns over fine but won’t start on the first or second time. Once it does start it runs a bit lumpy coughs and splutters. Then runs ok. It will start ok for the rest of the day. Any suggestions. I’ve changed the pump/sender in the tank, changed spark plugs.
