WebFeb 11, 2011 · Since you manually request certificate, CA server lookups your user account properties for subject and fails, because user account hasn't DNS name. You need to duplicate default Domain Controller template (if prompted, use Windows Server 2003 Enterprise). In the template properties switch to Subject tab and select 'Supply in request'.
