WebMar 10, 2024 · My cooling fan shuts down for about 30-45 seconds and comes right back on. In effect, you hear the cooling fan running all the time. Engine temp stays around 180 degrees. I have also changed the fan switch sensor on the back of the engine (coolant reservoir) still no change, fan continues to run. WebAug 7, 2010 · Orange is "Fan Spd Sens". I assume the speed sensor. Black/Light Blue is a ground shared with several other sensors. Light Green is "Sol Ctrl". If I had to *guess*, I would say ground the light green wire. First, check the white wire with a dvom to confirm that has 5 volts on it.
