WebOur special pay scale is based on the ordinary GS scale plus an additional supplement that we get instead of the locality adjustment that ranges from 53% for GS-7 to 33% for GS-12 and above. That additional supplement is fixed, while the locality adjustment slowly increases in theory to keep pace with increased cost of living.
