Remove the cover screws, tap on the cover to loosen it from the gasket and push on the end of the cam while pulling the cover off. The cam will stay in place as the cover comes off.

WebOct 25, 2006 · Just did a top end on an 80 inch stock shovel motor, 20 over pistons, stock cam new guides valves seals etc. Started it up and with in 5 minutes it started leaking at heads and rockers. Plenty of air coming out breather. Used regular gaskets.
